Expository writing is used by an author to inform or describe a particular subject.
- intro should have a good "grabber"
- use a transition at the beginning of each paragraph
- each paragraph should develop a point
- don't be afraid to use humor and creativity
- last paragraph is a conclusion
- last sentence should make someone smile or think
